It's not unusual these days for NBA players to fire back at some of the nasty comments they receive on social media. Los Angeles Clippers guard Lou Williams, however, decided to turn the other cheek after receiving an unflattering response from a total stranger.
Sweet Lou took to Instagram on Tuesday to get some advice from his followers about what hairstyle to rock in the upcoming 2020-21 campaign. While his post garnered some useful suggestions, once commenter decided to troll the Clippers' reserve by pointing out his team's inability to reach the NBA Finals last season.
Instead of responding to the hate with some venom of his own, though, Williams opted to send his well wishes to the person and his family.

In today's digital age, NBA players–or professional athletes in general–are easy targets of criticism and negativity online. Lou Williams has heard plenty of disparaging words throughout his 15-year NBA career. The 34-year-old Clippers guard, however, already knows how to deal with such things and not let emotions get the better of him.
The Clippers were indeed the biggest disappointments last season after losing a 3-1 series lead against the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference semifinals. Williams has probably heard it all from naysayers and no longer wishes to address the matter. His future in Hollywood has also been in question recently, as Williams has been involved in several trade rumors.
The three-time NBA Sixth Man of the Year winner proved he still has a lot left in the tank last season, norming 18.2 points and career-highs of 3.2 rebounds and 5.6 dimes in 65 games.
