The young guns of the Los Angeles Lakers have been showing a lot of dedication to improve over the summer. They have spent countless hours practicing, as they look to become the best players that they can be. It also helps that they have a new state-of-the-art practice facility, which could entice them to workout even more.
One of them is Julius Randle, who already spoke a couple of weeks ago that he is working hard to add efficient outside shooting to his already impressive skill set. He had made it known that he is comfortable shooting from beyond the arc, and he recently proved that in a video, where he can be seen knocking down one 3-point shot after another.

The 22-year-old Kentucky product is coming off his best season as a pro, with career high averages of 13.2 points on 48.7 shooting from the field, to go along with 3.6 assists and 8.6 rebounds in 28.8 minutes per game. After the knee injury he suffered in his first NBA game, Julius Randle has bounced back strong and is continuing to show a lot of improvement over the past two seasons.
If he'll be able to consistently knock down 3-pointers, he will become a nightmare matchup for the Lakers' opponents, as it will force opposing big men to defend him away from the hoop. That will allow Jordan Clarkson, Brandon Ingram, and even Lonzo Ball, just to name a few, to have more room to operate and attack the basket.
When he entered the league in 2014, Randle was not equipped with a reliable perimeter game. But with hard work and his willingness to add another facet to his arsenal of moves, he could become the stretch forward the Lakers need to help them become a winning group again soon.
