Fultz has been pegged by many as being the top selection by the Boston Celtics as they are the only team that he has agreed to work out with prior to the draft. Since the team landed the first overall pick, he has maintained that he only has eyes for the Celtics.
Article Continues BelowKeep in mind, Fultz had met with the Lakers and a slew other teams at the NBA Draft Combine several weeks ago in Chicago. Since then, Los Angeles has been mum on that front holding various workouts with other top players such as Ball, Josh Jackson, and plan to meet with De'Aaron Fox next week.
Despite being limited by injury, Fultz put together a productive freshman year at Washington, he averaged 23.2 points on 47.6 percent shooting from the field and 41.3 percent from 3-point range along with 5.9 assists, and 5.7 rebounds. He was the first freshman since LaDrell Whitehead in the 1994-95 season to average at least 20.0 points, 5.0 assists, and 5.0 rebounds per game.
With the draft still a couple of weeks away, expect the Lakers to do more of their due diligence with the potential available options for the pick.
