Wednesday night produced quite a classic as the Los Angeles Lakers took down the Golden State Warriors in their play-in matchup to secure the seventh seed in the Western Conference. Dubs head coach Steve Kerr delivered a stirring mid-game speech for his team at the end of the first quarter and once Lakers superstar Anthony Davis caught wind of the same, he could not help but react to it on social media.

For starters, here's a clip of Kerr addressing his boys after what was a very impressive first-quarter performance for Golden State (h/t Josh Schrock of NBC Sports):

After closing out the opening period with a six-point lead over the Lakers, coach Kerr was feeling confident about his team's chances. He pointed out that LA had “a lot of doubt down there,” which AD appears to have taken exception to. Davis saw the clip on Instagram and he needed just five emojis to express his sentiments about the same:

Ruthless clap back from AD here.

To be fair, the Lakers did not exactly have a strong start to the contest. They struggled early on, which is why Kerr was able to point out that his Warriors could take advantage of the defending champs' slow start.

Despite their lackluster effort in the early part of the game, however, the Lakers were able to deliver when it mattered most. Davis himself stepped up in the clutch, as he drained a couple of huge shots for his team down the stretch.

Clearly, AD did not agree with Steve Kerr's assessment.
