Anthony Davis is done talking about his past and remains focused on this season and playing for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Davis doesn't want to talk about the lists of teams he gave the New Orleans Pelicans when he requested a trade last season, a list which reportedly included the New York Knicks.
The Chicago native is happy with the Lakers and will most likely re-sign with LA after this season ends:

Davis will become an unrestricted free agent after this season ends once he declines his 2020-21 player option with the Lakers. No one within league circles, though, anticipates Davis leaving the Lakers after one season.
In his first season with the Lakers, Anthony Davis has been a monster on both ends of the court. He’s averaging 27.7 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.6 blocks while shooting 50.7 percent from the field, 29.9 percent from beyond the arc and 86.2 percent from the free-throw line.

No superstar player is going to sign with the Knicks until they get their ownership and front-office situation taken care of. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving didn't even take free-agent meetings with the Knicks this past offseason.
The allure of playing in Madison Square Garden is mostly gone since James Dolan is universally recognized as the worst owner in the NBA.
The Lakers host the Knicks on Tuesday night. L.A. should win in blowout fashion, even with the Knicks playing better of late.
