Davis injured his shoulder on Sunday versus the Charlotte Hornets. The six-time All-Star played 33 minutes and finished with 29 points, 14 rebounds, three assists, one steal and three blocks.
The Lakers are 2-1 on the young season. They fell to the Los Angeles Clippers on opening night, but have since defeated the Utah Jazz and Hornets.

Davis can become an unrestricted free agent next summer if he declines his 2020-21 player option with the Lakers. AD is widely expected to decline his $28.8 million player option since he can make more money on the open market.
It would shock a lot of people around the league if Davis doesn’t re-sign with the Lakers. LeBron James signed a four-year deal with Los Angeles last offseason. James has a player option for the 2021-22 season, one which he will likely pick up unless something changes in LA.
LeBron and Davis, of course, have the same agent — Rich Paul of Klutch Sports. The two superstars are eager to bring banner No. 17 to the Lakers this season.
