The Lakers are 7-2 on the season. They are coming off a home loss to the Toronto Raptors on Sunday. LeBron James and Davis, though, already seem to have good chemistry. That spells trouble for the rest of the NBA.

AD’s long-term health is important to the Lakers. The franchise wants to make sure Davis is as close to 100 percent once the playoffs start, which means he could sit out a few games here and there during the regular season if he’s nicked up.
Davis becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer once he declines his 2019-20 player option with the Lakers. The prevailing thought is the Chicago native will re-sign with Los Angeles.
With LeBron and AD leading the charge, the Lakers have a good chance of winning the championship this season.
