It looks like Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis is missing Stephen Curry. Or at least, he has the Golden State Warriors star in his mind.

On Friday during the Lakers' press conference, Davis had a hilarious slip while talking about the Suns. Instead of saying Devin Booker and Chris Paul–the two leaders of Phoenix–AD mentioned Steph's name before quickly correcting himself.

Well, it's hard to blame Anthony Davis for being unable to move on from Stephen Curry. After all, it hasn't been that long since the Warriors star dropped 37 points on the Purple and Gold to give them one hell of a scare in the play-in.

Of course, the Lakers were still able to win the contest–thanks to LeBron James' desperation heave in the clutch–and move on to the playoffs with the seventh seed in the West. However, the game might still be bothering AD since he was largely ineffective after struggling to get it going while being defended by Draymond Green.

It's probably a good thing Davis is cautious, though, especially since they can't underestimate a Suns team that has grown leaps and bounds this 2020-21 with Paul leading and Booker anchoring the offense. Perhaps if he sees Curry in all his upcoming opponents, he'll be more than motivated to block or stop them from attacking the rim or launching some Steph-like long-range bombs.
