The Los Angeles Lakers rattled off the second double-digit winning streak of the season, hours after the Milwaukee Bucks notched their 10th straight win, with a 125-103 beat down of the Washington Wizards last night.
Speaking about their 10th straight victory, Lakers superstar forward Anthony Davis admitted he is “not surprised” with their performance so far this season, per Ryan Ward of ClutchPoints.
AD on win streak: "But it is exciting to be on a roll like this. Coach talked today on how we played back in New Orleans. Our defense was kind of bad so he said that we don't need to lose to redeem ourselves or to lose in order to pick it back up – we can do that with a win too."

The Wizards looked absolutely helpless against the best team in the league. Davis led the way with a game-high 26 points on 8-of-15 shooting from the field. He also added 13 rebounds, two assists, and three blocks. LeBron James notched 23 points and 11 assists, while four other Lakers scored in double-figures.
Article Continues BelowThis all-around team effort comes after they almost dropped a close one against AD's former squad, the New Orleans Pelicans on the road in a pre-Thanksgiving special on Thursday night. Showered with boos throughout the evening, Davis poured in 41 points to help the Lakers silence the hostile crowd.
Despite the win, the top-5 defense the Lakers have been boasting about didn't show up until the fourth quarter, where they allowed the Pelicans to just 21 points in the final period after giving up 89 through the first three.
Unfortunately for the Wizards, the Lakers looked poised to bounce back from their lackluster effort in a big way. And they did. The win give the Lakers a league-leading 17-2 record on the year. They look to extend their winning streak with the surging Dallas Mavericks, led by Slovenian superstar Luka Doncic, coming into town on Monday.
This is also Los Angeles' first 10-game winning streak since the 2009-10 season, where they eventually won the NBA championship. These 2019-20 Lakers look to replicate that feat with Anthony Davis and LeBron leading the way.
