The Los Angeles Lakers are listing superstar big man Anthony Davis as questionable to play against the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday.

Davis is dealing with an ankle sprain.

The Lakers are 24-3 on the season. They have the best record in the Western Conference and are tied with the Milwaukee Bucks for the best record in the NBA.

Davis has been a monster in his first season with the Lakers. The All-Star forward is averaging 27.4 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists while shooting 49.9 percent from the field, 31.9 percent from beyond the arc and 85.8 percent from the free-throw line.

In 26 games this season, Davis has 12 double-doubles.

The Lakers will obviously be cautious with Davis since his long-term health is important to the franchise. It helps that LA has LeBron James on the roster.  Now that he’s healthy, James is playing like an MVP again, averaging 26.1 points, 7.3 rebounds and 10.7 assists while shooting 50.2 percent from the floor, 36.5 percent from the 3-point line and 68.3 percent from the charity stripe.

With LeBron and Davis leading the way, the Lakers have a great chance at winning the title this season. After all, no team wants to see LeBron and Davis in a seven-game playoff series.

The Indiana Pacers are on a three-game winning streak. They face the Purple and Gold on Tuesday for the first time this season.
