Supporters of the Los Angeles Lakers were given a bit of a scare toward the closing moments of Sunday night's blowout victory against the Charlotte Hornets. With a few minutes remaining in the contest, superstar big man Anthony Davis was seen walking back to the locker room.
Following a 120-101 victory, however, Davis was adamant that there was no concern whatsoever regarding a potential shoulder injury:

Davis is not exactly the most durable player in the NBA, and his injuries in the past have been well-documented. This is why every minor tweak is enough to make the hearts of Lakers fans skip a beat. Nevertheless, this does not appear to be a concern, as there was also no injury report on the prized big man after the game.

He did turn the ball over five times, though, so this is definitely something the six-time All-Star will want to improve on moving forward.
Davis and the Lakers have now recorded back-to-back wins following their convincing 95-86 victory against the Utah Jazz on Friday night. The team has bounced back admirably after losing their opener against the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday.
For his part, Davis has been outstanding in his first three games. The 26-year-old is currently averaging 25.0 points (on 43.9 percent shooting), 10.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.3 steals, and 3.3 blocks per contest.
