The Los Angeles Lakers will be getting two key rotation players back for their game against the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday night, as forward Brandon Ingram and point guard Rajon Rondo are set to rejoin the team, according to Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com.
That is pretty big news for the Lakers not just for the future, but also for Friday's game, as big man JaVale McGee will be sidelined with an illness and LeBron James is a game-time decision with his own illness.
Ingram injured his ankle five minutes into the Lakers' win over the San Antonio Spurs on Dec. 5 and has been out ever since.
On the year, Ingram is averaging 15.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists over 30.8 minutes per game while shooting 47 percent from the floor, 32.4 percent from 3-point range and 62.6 percent from the free-throw line.
It has been a rough go for the third-year forward, as he is having trouble becoming accustomed to playing with James and is having trouble shooting the ball in general.

Rondo broke his hand in a win over the Portland Trail Blazers back on Nov. 14. This will be his first appearance since the injury.
The 32-year-old is registering 8.5 points, 6.5 boards and 4.5 assists across 25.3 minutes a night for Los Angeles, making 45.5 percent of his shots, 41.9 percent of his 3-pointers and 50 percent of his free throws.
The Lakers signed Rondo over the summer to take some pressure off Lonzo Ball and to provide Ball with a mentor at the point guard position.
Los Angeles is currently 18-13 on the season.
