When superstar forward LeBron James signed with the Los Angeles Lakers this offseason, it took many NBA fans by surprise. Many expected ‘The King” to re-sign with his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers, or possibly move to Philly and create a new super team with Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons.
But in the end, LeBron will play next season in the iconic Lakers purple and gold. Even though this has been determined for over a month now, LeBron James' Cleveland memorabilia are still around, and a Gamestop in Los Angeles found a creative way to recycle some of it.

The Lakers logo over the Cleveland wine and gold looks pretty odd, but the video game store gets the point across.
Article Continues BelowThe cut-out is being used to advertise the release of NBA 2K19, the famous basketball game that is beloved by viewers of the NBA and players alike.
Players' ratings are released before the game itself comes out, and players always have something to say about it, either complimenting the game for a fair rating or trashing it for being too low.
LeBron is the highest rated player in 2K19, clocking in at a 98, two points off from a perfect rating as no one has ever been ranked higher than a 99.
For someone that is so highly ranked and is even on the cover of the game itself, you'd think 2K would invest some money in getting a cut out of LeBron in a Lakers jersey. For now, props to the Gamestop for its creative advertising.
