Basketball Hall of Famer and current “Inside the NBA” anchor Charles Barkley has spoken out on the controversy surrounding Los Angeles Lakers stud Lonzo Ball and his family's Big Baller Brand. According to Barkley, Ball family patriarch LaVar Ball has to take the blame for all the trouble BBB has recently gotten into:
“This thing has been a disaster since Day 1,” Barkley told Jalen Rose on ESPN's “Get Up” on Wednesday, via Chicco Nacion of theScore. “It was never going to work and I feel bad cause this ol' big-mouth jackass dad has put his kids in an awkward situation all year. I don't want to see anything bad happen to the kid, but I don't like his dad at all and this thing has been a joke from the beginning.”
Barkley is not one to mince words, and he certainly did not hold back with his criticism of LaVar here. Barkley has long been a critic of LaVar and his antics, and this recent scandal appears to prove Barkley right. For the former Phoenix Suns legend, this is surely one of his most noteworthy “I told you so” moments.

“He should've been his own man from the beginning,” Barkley said. “You can't let your family members try to piggyback on your success. This is his time.”
Barkley is definitely adding insult to injury here, and with LaVar himself never short on words, it would be a surprise if the Ball patriarch does not clap back on Barkley's harsh statements.
