Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard has seemingly saved his NBA career and image this season by being on his best behavior and not causing turmoil in the locker room.
Since his prime days with the Orlando Magic ended in 2012, Howard has played for the Lakers (twice), Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets and Washington Wizards.
In an interview with Shams Charania of Stadium at Walt Disney World, Howard opened up about the negative stigma surrounding his image and admitted he has thought about quitting before.
However, the Lakers veteran knew he had to keep fighting since God was testing him.

Dwight Howard's second go-around with the Lakers has been a success thus far. He's back in the NBA Finals and has a golden opportunity to capture his first championship.
In the Western Conference playoffs against the Portland Trail Blazers, Rockets and Denver Nuggets, Howard averaged 7.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game while shooting 67.3 percent from the field. The former superstar big man even started Games 4 and 5 versus the Nuggets in the conference finals.
While Howard and the Lakers are favored to defeat the Miami Heat in the 2020 Finals, Los Angeles can't sleep on the Heat since Jimmy Butler and Co. have been playing excellent basketball in the bubble.
