The Los Angeles Lakers have a whole lot of players vying for playing time, which is going to make life somewhat difficult for head coach Frank Vogel when it comes to nailing down a rotation.

At Lakers media day on Friday, Vogel said he has not made any decisions as far as lineups are concerned, noting the team will use camp to mix and match lineups to see what the best fits are, via ClutchPoints.

With Kyle Kuzma potentially out for the start of the season due to a stress reaction in his foot, that makes things even harder, as Vogel may have to establish a lineup and then find a way to adjust once Kuzma returns.

Some have even surmised that Kuzma may have to come off the bench, as the Lakers may end up rolling with a frontcourt of Dwight Howard and Anthony Davis with LeBron James at small forward, Danny Green at shooting guard and Rajon Rondo at point guard. Alex Caruso and Avery Bradley are other options at the point.

There has even been some chatter that Los Angeles could toy with James as the starting point guard, which would allow the Lakers to go with a starting five of Howard, Davis, Kuzma, Green and James.

Of course, in today's game where coaches experiment with lineups more than ever, you never know what types of groupings Vogel will come up with.

One thing is for sure: no matter what starting lineup the Lakers field, they should certainly be better than they were this past year.
