Los Angeles Lakers second-year shooting guard Talen Horton-Tucker stole the show un Sunday night, as he came out with an another awe-inspiring performance against the Los Angeles Clippers. Horton-Tucker couldn't miss on Sunday, and it turned out to be a an opportunity for Twitter to come out with some hilarious memes — with some of them coming at the expense of Kyle Kuzma.

Folks over on the mean streets of Twitter could not help but expose the double standards of Lakers fans in their reception of Horton-Tucker as opposed to Kuzma:

Kyle Kuzma hasn't exactly been a fan favorite among the Lakers faithful, with the 25-year-old often times on the receiving end of some heavy (and at times unfair) criticism from L.A. fans. Horton-Tucker's recent emergence in the Lakers' first two preseason contests only further adds to Kuzma's woes. There are even some supporters who believe that Talen Horton-Tucker might be gunning for Kuzma's spot in the squad's rotation this coming season:

On Friday, Horton-Tucker had a coming out party for the Lakers, serving as arguably the team's best player on the court in an 87-81 victory over the Clippers. The 20-year-old finished with 19 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and three steals in 37 minutes of play. It was more of the same for Horton-Tucker on Sunday night, as he led the Lakers in what was an even more astounding performance.

It is clear that Talen Horton-Tucker has shown a tremendous improvement entering his sophomore campaign, and at this point, he has given Lakers head coach Frank Vogel some extra motivation to provide him with a more substantial role for the team this coming season.
