Los Angeles Lakers veteran forward Jared Dudley has recently provided us with some insider information with regards to the NBA's plans to resume the season. According to the 34-year-old, he heard it straight from none other than league commissioner Adam Silver that once the season resumes, the NBA is looking as far ahead as October as to when the current campaign might end.
Dudley took to Twitter to share his inside scoop:

The NBA opened a number of practice facilities on Friday for teams residing in cities or states that have had their social distancing measures recently reduced. This has fueled speculation that the league is closing in on a potential return date, but Dudley's recent comments here seems to prove otherwise.
For his part, the Lakers veteran actually also raised some concern about the league's decision to re-open certain practice facilities. In his mind, this poses an unfair disadvantage for teams that will not be allowed to practice due to the lockdown policies implemented in their respective cities or states. He also weighed in on the whole “bubble idea,” and presented his own ideas about this rather drastic proposal.
It appears that at this point, Dudley has emerged as one of the louder voices in the NBA when it comes to the league's status amidst the current pandemic. The Lakers vet also seems to have a direct line with the higher-ups of the league, so we will be sure to track down any and all of Dudley's social media activities from here on out. Perhaps he has a career in TMZ Sports on the horizon.
