Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma will travel with the team during their upcoming three-game road trip, according to Ryan Ward of ClutchPoints. In addition, Lakers head coach Frank Vogel did not rule out Kuzma playing at some point during the stretch.
Kuzma is practicing with the G League's South Bay Lakers and then will join the big club for the trip, which features games against the Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs and Chicago Bulls.
The 24-year-old has been sidelined since before the FIBA World Cup as a result of a stress reaction in his foot. He's clearly excited to get back at it:

Now in his third NBA season, there are high expectations for Kuzma heading into the 2019-20 campaign, as he is expected to be the Lakers' third option behind LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
Kuzma, who played his collegiate basketball at the University of Utah, was originally selected by the Brooklyn Nets in the first round (27th pick overall) of the 2017 NBA Draft, but was immediately traded to Los Angeles.

He played in 77 games and made 37 starts during his rookie campaign, averaging 16.1 points and 6.3 rebounds over 31.2 minutes per game while shooting 45.0 percent from the floor, 36.6 percent from 3-point range and 70.7 percent from the free-throw line.
Kuzma then followed that up by appearing in 70 contests with 68 starts last season, registering 18.7 points, 5.5 boards and 2.5 assists across 33.1 minutes a night while making 45.6 percent of his field goal attempts, 30.3 percent of his long-distance tries and 75.2 percent of his foul shots.
Since losing to the Los Angeles Clippers on opening night, the Lakers have reeled off three straight wins, most recently thumping the Memphis Grizzlies by a score of 120-91 on Tuesday evening.
Los Angeles will take on the Dallas Mavericks on Friday.
