The Stanley Cup trophy is considered one of the most beautiful trophies in the world, so much so that even Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is in awe of the massive prize.

On Tuesday ahead of the Stanley Cup Finals, James went viral for his reaction upon seeing the top award from the NHL. The Lakers forward had a close look at it and couldn't believe at the sheer size of the trophy and how great it looks.

Certainly compared to the trophies of the other major sports leagues in the US, the Stanley Cup's stands out the most.

James, for his part, re-shared the video of him seeing the Stanley Cup trophy on Instagram and wrote “So Beautiful.”

Sure enough, LeBron James is not the only one to have the same reaction. Those who saw the trophy for the first time in their lives probably were just as amazed as the Lakers star or even more considering how imposing it looks.

Perhaps it will motivate LeBron to win the Stanley Cup as well? After all, as he gets more involved in sports franchise ownership, the NHL might be in his mind as well. He has a stake with Premier League club Liverpool and recently revealed his plan to be an NBA team owner someday. So what's stopping him from venturing to the National Hockey League, right?
