Vogel has been able to reel in the troops and have them work for a common goal, much like James, who entered this season with a defensive mindset.
The Lakers have thrived with the James-Davis duo at the forefront, all the way to the top of the Western Conference. The King has led the league in assists from the start of the season and The Brow has positioned himself as one of the best defensive forces in the league.
Vogel also earned All-Star coach honors due to this success, one that won't be taken for granted by James and his teammates.
