Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James has forged his name into the history books once again as just the fourth player in NBA history with 33,000 career points.
James joins Kobe Bryant, Karl, Malone, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the only four players to score 33,000 points.

The Lakers superstar is already known as one of the greats that the league has ever seen. What's impressive is that scoring isn't even his best asset. His passing and vision have always been at an elite level ever since he entered the league as the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft. This is what opposing teams feared the most about him — coupled with his tank-like body which enables him to get all the way to the hoop with ease.
In his early years, teams dared him to shoot. But James, realizing the glaring weakness in his game, added a reliable jump shot to his arsenal. This subsequently made him the most complete player that the game has seen. And now, he's in elite company with the league's greatest scorers.
What's even scarier is that James doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon. He's expected to pass Lakers' franchise great Kobe Bryant before the season ends. If he keeps this up, he has a real shot at becoming the NBA's all-time leading scorer. A pretty impressive feat for someone who's known as a pass-first basketball player.
