Despite missing the playoffs this season for the first time since his second year in the league, Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward LeBron James still has supreme confidence in his abilities.
The Lakers will have cap space this summer to sign a max contract player to pair alongside LeBron. The four-time MVP says he is looking forward to seeing who jumps in the car with him.
“I'm looking forward to seeing who jumps in the car with me and want to take this ride to the top,” James told Allie Clifton of Sports Nets Spectrum. “I know what I bring to the game. I know my commitment to the game. I've never cheated the game. I'm guaranteeing my mind will always be in championship mindset until I'm done.”

James played in 55 games this season for the Lakers. It's the least number of games he's ever played in a season. The groin injury The King suffered on Christmas Day against the Golden State Warriors was the worst injury LeBron has ever sustained.
The Lakers will try and trade for New Orleans Pelicans superstar big man Anthony Davis again this summer. If Los Angeles can't get AD, they will try and sign Kevin Durant, Jimmy Butler, Kyrie Irving, Kawhi Leonard or Kemba Walker. All five All-Stars will become free agents this summer.
