Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has always been one to seek inspiration from the greats of the game, including and especially former Laker legend Kobe Bryant.
James quote-tweeted a rather humorous Bryant quote from his playing days. The “Black Mamba” was asked which player's compliment would mean the most to him, to which Kobe hilariously responds “I don't really care about any of them.” LeBron certainly got a kick out of the exchange from the Lakers legend.

It's vintage Bryant, and quite a timely post as well.
The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced the presenters for the class of 2020 on Thursday. Bryant's presenter, to nobody's surprise, is none other than Michael Jordan.
Kobe was like the more contemporary version of MJ. He patterned his game after Jordan and took valuable lessons from “His Airness” throughout his career. Jordan called Bryant his “little brother” during his eulogy for Kobe last February.
Article Continues BelowThe pattern of passing down knowledge continued to James, who took quite a bit of wisdom from Kobe Bryant. Like so many others, LeBron came to appreciate Kobe's steely mindset and constant desire to be great:
“If you want to be the best at something, you’re so driven that you won’t let nothing stand in the way of it, not even your family sometimes,” James said last February, via Mark Medina of USA TODAY. “When you get compared all the time to greatness, that makes us even more driven and even more sheltered away from even our own family. That’s a difficult part we deal with as professional athletes.”
The killer mindset Bryant exhibited throughout his career with the Lakers made for gems like the clip above. It also helped Bryant establish a reputation as the ultimate winner and competitor during his playing career in the NBA.
