Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has not missed a beat as he prepares to lead the Purple and Gold into the seeding games in Orlando.

James has been having quite a bit of fun during exhibitions, and his banter game has been on full display in the past few days.

During the first quarter, with the ball out of bounds, LeBron, who was on the court, noticed Kentavious Caldwell-Pope walking along the sideline, from the locker room back to the bench. “What’s wrong with your shitty ass?” LeBron asked, and then called KCP something that I simply will not print.

LeBron James was also vocal during Orlando Magic free-throw attempts:

Orlando’s Nikola Vucevic was midshot on a free throw and LeBron yelled, “Ahhhhhh shit.” On a D.J. Augustin free throw, “That’s shorty, that’s shorty.”

I loved this one. With 10:45 left in the second quarter, the Magic were already in the bonus. So Vogel yells to his team, “Hey, Gold, they are already in the bonus one. Stop fouling. We’re one minute into the quarter.”

Eight minutes and four more fouls later, LeBron goes, “Damn, we gotta stop fouling.”

LeBron James' chirping went far beyond humor. He went right at Magic guard Michael Carter-Williams, saying he's “all drive, no shoot.”

James is one of the most vocal players in basketball. He is also not afraid to assert his physical and mental dominance on the floor, whether talking with opponents or giving them a patented stare down after a big play or poster dunk.

The King was playing at an MVP level prior to the suspension of play, and he looks to be in pretty good shape if the last few days are any indication.

It would appear LeBron James' trash-talking is also matching his play as he tries to lead the Lakers to a championship.
