For the first time since suffering a groin strain on Christmas Day against the Golden State Warriors at Oracle Arena, Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward LeBron James put some shots up at the team's practice facility, according to Lakers head coach Luke Walton.
It's been exactly one week since LeBron James strained his groin. It is still unknown when the four-time league MVP will return to game action for LA.
Luke Walton says he saw LeBron shooting today at the facility. He said it was the first time since the injury he’s seen LeBron shooting.

In his first season in Los Angeles, LeBron James is averaging 27.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game. The King is shooting 51.8 percent from the field, 35.6 percent from beyond the arc and 68.2 percent from the free-throw line.

LeBron James played in every game last season with the Cleveland Cavaliers and hadn't missed a game since the last day of the regular season in 2017 until he sustained this groin strain versus the Warriors.
LA takes on Paul George, Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday at Staples Center. That's going to be a tough game for this young squad to win without the services of LeBron and veteran point guard Rajon Rondo, who is out after undergoing right hand surgery.
