Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is making sure his voice is still heard on social injustices and police brutality ahead of Game 3 of the NBA Finals against the Miami Heat.

James donned a hat with the well-known “I Can't Breathe” tagline that has been associated with the many unfortunate deaths at the hands of policemen throughout the years.

LeBron James has been a familiar voice as athletes use their platforms to air the wrongdoings to African Americans throughout the year. With the latest killing of George Floyd becoming a senseless murder that will surely go down in history, the Lakers superstar and other NBA players have made sure to keep the overall message alive during their stay in the bubble: change is necessary.

On the opposing team in the Heat, veteran Andre Iguodala has also been voicing his opinions while making sure to educate his fellow players on topics such as group economics — a phrase that he proudly wears on the back of his jersey after players were given a list of approved messages to wear prior to the resumption of the season.

James and the Showtime Lakers will look to increase their lead in the NBA Finals against the Heat on Sunday night. They currently have a 2-0 lead, which historically has been nearly impossible to overcome for the opposing team in playoffs history.

With injuries to the Heat's Goran Dragic and Bam Adebayo, mounting a comeback in the series may prove to be a task the Heat simply can't conquer. Both Dragic and Adebayo are still listed as doubtful in returning to action in Game 3, which is even a step down from being questionable to return. Dragic is dealing with a torn plantar fascia from Game 1, while Adebayo is tending to a neck strain injury he also sustained in the Finals opener.
