Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward LeBron James and Seattle Storm legend Sue Bird are in their 17th seasons in their respective sports. Both are future Hall of Famers who continue to set records.
James is seemingly defying father time in his 17th season in the NBA and second with the Lakers. The King led the NBA in assists per game during the 2019-20 regular season. He is, as of this writing, two wins away from winning his fourth championship and third ring with his third different team.
Bird, meanwhile, made history in Game 1 of the 2020 WNBA Finals by recording 16 assists to help the Storm take a 1-0 series lead over the Las Vegas Aces.
After James congratulated Bird for her stellar performance, the Storm guard responded to the Lakers star.
