Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball feels like having LeBron James on the court takes a lot of pressure off of the team's young nucleus.

After a slow start in LeBron James' first season in Los Angeles, the Lakers have turned things around as of late and have now moved to 19-14 overall, fourth in the tough Western Conference.

Of course, having someone like LeBron on the court is going to be a big boost for any team, and that's especially the case for one that is filled with a lot of young players on the roster.

So, it's no surprise that Lonzo Ball believes that LeBron's decision to join the Lakers has helped ease some of the pressure, especially on him.

“I would say it takes pressure off of me and the rest of the young guys,” Ball told Bill Oram of The Athletic during the Lakers’ recent four-game road trip.

“Obviously you have LeBron, the best player in the world, all the attention’s on him. A lot of the wins and losses are targeted towards him. I know he’s dealt with that his whole career so he’s fine with it. But myself, it’s taken the spotlight off a little bit, just making things a little easier for me.”

Ball is currently averaging 9.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game this season, and he's been able to build solid chemistry right away with LeBron.

Next up for the Lakers is a game that many have been waiting for, with Ball and company set for a Christmas clash with the Golden State Warriors at Oracle Arena.
