Los Angeles Lakers icon Magic Johnson was on point with his observations following the Purple and Gold's 102-96 win in Game 4 of the NBA Finals versus the Miami Heat.

The Hall of Fame point guard praised the Lakers' supreme focus in the closing minutes of the game, which helped them bounce back from that disappointing letdown in Game 3.

Following their spirited Game 3 win, the Heat were once again locked-in against the Lakers in hopes of evening the series at two wins apiece. LA held the lead for the majority of the second half, but Miami stayed with it and kept it close until the end.

Contrary to the Lakers' disastrous Game 3 performance where they allowed Heat star Jimmy Butler to take over, Frank Vogel's wards played brilliant basketball on both ends to seal the deal on Tuesday.

Their defensive pressure was just too much for the Heat to overcome, as they closed out on Miami's shooters and prevented them from mounting yet another comeback.

But in the end, it was the Lakers' near-perfect offensive explosion in the closing minutes that ultimately gave them a commanding 3-1 series lead.

LeBron James put on another herculean effort with 28 points, 12 boards and eight dimes, while Anthony Davis added 22 markers, nine rebounds and four assists. The Brow also nailed a dagger 3-pointer with 39.5 left in regulation to put the Heat away for good.

The Lakeshow also received some surprising heroics from Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who came up big in the fourth with a crucial 5-point burst of his own. KCP finished with 15 points on 3-of-8 from distance.

The Lakers are now just one victory away from the franchise's 17th title, and Magic Johnson couldn't be any happier.
