Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward LeBron James wore a headband Wednesday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves for the first time in a Lakers uniform, and you can now play as headband LeBron in NBA 2K19.

LeBron, who used to wear the headband all the time but stopped in 2014, occasionally has brought the headband back from time to time and it always causes a stir.

LeBron James and the Lakers defeated the Timberwolves at home by a final score of 114-110. In 39 minutes of action, James scored 24 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out nine assists. The four-time MVP shot 10-of-21 from the field, 3-of-9 from beyond the arc and 1-of-2 from the free-throw line.

The Lakers are now 5-8 on the season. It's unknown if LeBron James is going to continue to wear the headband, but at least fans can play as headband King James in NBA 2K if they feel like it.

LeBron and the Lakers will look to make it two wins in a row Saturday when they take on the Sacramento Kings at Golden 1 Center.

On the season now, LeBron James is averaging 26.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game while shooting 50.0 percent from the field, 29.5 percent from beyond the arc and 76.5 percent from the charity stripe.
