Just in case you needed one more proof that LeBron James is the best player in the league, here's another one. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar has climbed up the ladder and currently has the most triple-double performances after turning 30.

The 36-year-old has now tallied a total of 62 triple-doubles since turning 30 and surpassed NBA icons like Wilt Chamberlain (61) and Jason Kidd (58). Only Russell Westbrook of the Washington Wizards, who has tallied 55, is the only one currently in the NBA who's even close to The King when it comes to triple-doubles (via Hoop Central).

The four-time MVP is aging like fine wine, or in his case, like fine tequila.

The reigning NBA Finals MVP has now a total of 98 triple-doubles in his 18 seasons in the NBA which currently puts him at the fifth spot of all-time leaders. He's already tallied five triple-doubles so far this season with a ton of regular season left. James has a chance to notch his 63rd triple-double on Thursday against LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets.

The kid from Akron, Ohio has been the biggest generational talent in recent NBA history and he has four NBA rings, four NBA MVP awards, and four NBA Finals MVP trophies to back him up. Last season, he also led the NBA in assists with 10.2 dimes per game for the first time in his career. He was the biggest reason why the Lakers breezed past the 2020 playoffs and ended up hoisting the Larry O'Brien Trophy at the end of the NBA Bubble in Orlando last season.
