Almost anyone would feel starstruck in the presence of LeBron James. This includes Olympic gold medalist, Caster Semenya. The South African gold medal middle-distance sprinter was in Berlin for a race and was surprised when James showed up to watch her compete.
James is touring Europe right now and he was recently in France where he met with Neymar. Berlin to watch Semenya was his next stop.
The meeting was a thrill for Semenya and James alike, as can be seen in their reactions on her Twitter.
When the greatness meet up 😍❤. You just made my year for showing up to watch me race. This is too much #striveforgreatness pic.twitter.com/h3Gle8R3GT

James knows a thing or two about winning gold medals himself. LeBron and USA Basketball won gold in 2008 at Beijing with the Redeem Team and he helped USA Basketball repeat gold in 2012 in London.
James' two gold medals came after he was a part of the most disappointing USA Basketball team in history. The 2004 team that finished with a bronze medal returned home in disgrace. It was the first time a USA Basketball team with NBA players failed to win gold. The 1992 Dream Team was the first time the Olympics allowed NBA players to compete.
But before long, James' attention will turn toward his first season with the Los Angeles Lakers. The superstar is looking to help lead the franchise back to greatness and he's surrounded by a nice mix of young stars and seasoned veterans.
LeBron James always makes news no matter what he does, but he has to be looking forward to getting back on the court and donning the purple and gold.
