Los Angeles Lakers backup point guard Rajon Rondo says when he retires from the NBA, he has interest in being a general manager or president of a team.
A lot of people believe Rajon Rondo would make a tremendous head coach due to his high IQ of the game and ability to connect with players. Rondo says he's not opposed to being a coach either.
Rondo was asked if he thought about coaching after heās done with his playing career: āI have an interest in being a GM ⦠President ⦠maybe coach.ā

Rajon Rondo is 32-years-old. The four-time All-Star signed a one-year deal with the Lakers. Who knows how much longer he's going to play the game of basketball. One thing is certain, though: Rajon Rondo has an eye for talent and knows how to run an organization since he's been around the game for so long.
New Orleans Pelicans stretch forward Nikola Mirotic called Rajon Rondo his favorite teammate ever. Golden State Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins said Rondo is one of the smartest players he has ever played with. These are the type of characteristics you would want from a person leading a franchise.
Whichever route Rajon Rondo takes, odds are he's going to be successful. The guard has natural leadership skills and a bevy of basketball knowledge at his disposal. Of course, the Lakers are hoping Rondo doesn't retire after this season, because they could use his services come postseason time next season.
