The Los Angeles Lakers were missing a couple of key guys on Friday night, but Talen Horton-Tucker came out to make sure to put on a show for the Purple & Gold faithful.

With the slew of injuries the Lakers are currently dealing with, it will be guys like THT who will be expected to step in and do what they can to help stop the bleeding for the Lakers. As it is, the defending champs are on a four-game skid as they entered Friday's matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Horton-Tucker will be expected to play a more significant role for the squad amid the injury crisis, and he will need to step up to the plate.

Horton-Tucker has finally gplayed in 41 games, gaining more minutes from head coach Frank Vogel. This season he is averaging 7.9 points, 2.3 assist and 2.7 rebounds per game while averaging 18.4 minutes on the court.

Both Anthony Davis and LeBron are expected to be out for an expected period, and the shorthanded Lakers will need to navigate the next couple of weeks without their two best players.
