The Los Angeles Lakers are a mess right now, and their players are reportedly not liking it — not one bit.
After a tumultuous year that saw them miss the playoffs, lose Magic Johnson and fire head coach Luke Walton, the Lakers are once again embroiled in controversy after their failure to sign Tyronn Lue as head coach.
Lakers fans even staged a protest to demand accountability for what has happened so far with the team.
Now, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, the Lakers players are all embarrassed with everything that has been going on with the team.

It is unclear if the Lakers will be able to resolve every problem they have before free agency. They can sign another top-tier free agent to a max contract, but in order for that to happen, the franchise needs to look presentable. They need to have a clear plan in terms of how to start winning titles again.
Or how to start winning, period.
Things could go from bad to worse if the Lakers fail to land another superstar to pair with LeBron.
For a franchise that's as glamorous and successful as the Purple and Gold, this is unfamiliar territory. They're used to assembling championship caliber teams with just a snap of a finger. Starting from scratch is something that they have struggled to do, but they have no choice. They have to do it the slow and painful way if they want to be relevant again.
