They also made some changes to their roster before the trade deadline, bringing in veteran point guard Isaiah Thomas to their fold but it won't be enough to make a dramatic impact.

The two-time All-Star has been receiving a lot of playing time from head coach Luke Walton since his arrival in L.A., and was thought of as a veteran locker room leader for them as well.

On Wednesday against the Golden State Warriors, he appeared to be upset about a play that happened and was seen having a heated moment with Julius Randle during a timeout. They even had to be restrained by Brook Lopez and Lonzo Ball, who did not want the situation to escalate further.

The good news is that cooler heads prevailed and the two even shook hands after. It just proves that they were just caught up in the moment, as they wanted to win on the night.

The exchange the two had can also be considered a good sign as it proves that they do not mind getting into an argument with their teammates, as long as it pushes them to do better. This type of attitude could be seen as detrimental, especially for a young team like the Lakers, but it may also be Thomas' way to bring out the best in his teammates in order to light a fire underneath them.
