There are only a few players in the NBA who can throw an alley-oop to themselves, and Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is one of them.
Saturday night against the San Antonio Spurs, James got Spurs forward Dante Cunningham to bite on one of his pump fakes. James, though, then got in the air after he was a little indecisive with his jump shot. That's ok, because LeBron has nuclear athleticism and is able to turn a negative into a positive with ease.
LeBron James, just like he's done so many times before, threw the ball off the glass to himself and hit a layup, drawing oohs and aahs from the San Antonio crowd.

Usually, LeBron James dunks these types of plays, but there was a little too much traffic around him so he wasn't able to. Still, it's an amazing play from The King, who is looking to lead his Lakers to their third-straight win.
Entering Saturday night, LeBron James was averaging 25.8 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 9.2 assists per game while shooting 47.9 percent from the field. LeBron, however, is only shooting 17.2 percent from beyond the arc and 78.0 percent from the free-throw line. His two missed free throws against the Spurs this past week helped San Antonio win in overtime at Staples Center.
