The Los Angeles Lakers have now put themselves in a shaky situation after losing a crucial Game 5 encounter to the Miami Heat on a 111-108 outcome. While they are still up three games to two, the Lakers are also aware that no lead is safe against a gritty and capable opponent like the Heat.
When asked whether or not the pressure is on the Lakers in Game 6, Stephen A. Smith responded by pointing out that the circumstances which happened in Game 5 drastically had an impact on the potential outcome of the series.

Because his health appears to be questionable, you need to get this series over in a Game 6 because clearly, you can't rely on him being healthy. You can't rely on LeBron James being healthy. You can't rely on James doing what he does but the Miami Heat is saying that it's not going to be enough. You better get some help in order to beat us. If you're the Los Angeles Lakers, this is a tough night. LeBron scores 40, Anthony Davis scores 28 and you still lose. That is a problem for the Los Angeles Lakers. Suddenly a Game 6 becomes incredibly pivotal.”
LJames was not one to be blamed for the Game 5 loss since he attempted to lead his team from the forefront with his 40 points, 13 rebounds, and seven assists. Anthony Davis also hoped to finish the series by putting up 28 points and 12 rebounds but was partially limited due to an ankle injury scare sustained in the middle of the game.
His potential productivity come Game 6, given the recently sustained injury, is still hugely in question. If the seven-time All-Star turned out to be a non-factor in their upcoming game, then the pressure is definitely on the Lakers to successfully pull off a victory in a dangerous Game 7 tilt.
The Lakers now have no room for errors and it will require a herculean effort from both of their stars in James and Davis to close out the series in Game 6 against a hungry Miami Heat squad.
