Stephen Curry respects LeBron James, and the Golden State Warriors star showed that as he heaps praises on the Los Angeles Lakers forward in a recent video shown by NBA TV.

Stephen Curry acknowledged LeBron James' ability to change the course of the game, something which the Warriors sharpshooter said James is spectacular at doing. He also added that LeBron is always hard to defend, pointing out that it requires a total team effort just to stop him.

“In terms of one guy being able to change the course of the game the way he can, he controls the pace he does things that kinda look like ‘how did he do that.' It doesn't matter sometimes how good of defense you play on him, uses sheer strength and power to get to the basket,” Curry explained.

“He's developed that outside game that keeps you honest. It's something that you need all antennas up, all five guys. you know if you don't bring it, he's liable to expose you.”

Curry and James have met in the finals four straight years. The Cleveland Cavaliers have won one championship in the time while the Warriors had won the matchup three times.

Last year, however, James single-handedly carried the Cavs to a fourth consecutive NBA Finals appearance.

Now that James plays for the Lakers, the Warriors would have to face off against him in the conference playoffs or finals before they even reach the NBA Finals. This is one of the most anticipated matchups of the year — one which will certainly affect the legacy of James and Curry moving forward.
