The Los Angeles Lakers are well represented in the Rising Stars Game with Kyle Kuzma having himself quite a performance in the All-Star Weekend's opening main event.

Kuzma's teammate Lonzo Ball, was initially selected to join Team USA, but he suffered an ankle injury that caused him to miss the Rising Stars game. The sophomore guard was eventually replaced by the New York Knicks' Kevin Knox.

In spite of the Lakers point guard's absence, Kuzma still managed to remind people of his teammate's playstyle by virtue of a slick no-look pass to Donovan Mitchell, reminiscent of Ball's sweet dimes.

Of course, Ball was impressed with what his teammate did.

The Lakers drafted Kuzma with the 27th overall pick in last year's draft, and he immediately showed the league that he can be one of the best scoring forwards in the league.

So far this season, Kuzma has been the second leading scorer for the Lakers behind LeBron James. He's currently putting up 19.1 points on 46 percent shooting from the field to go along with 5.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game.

The Lakers are currently 10th in the Western Conference with a 28-29 record, but they still have a legitimate chance of making the playoffs, and Kuzma is expected to play a major role in the team's postseason push.
