Paul Pierce just shared his prediction for the 2020 NBA Finals. In his opinion, the Los Angeles Lakers will boot out the Miami Heat in just four games.

Pierce shared his thoughts on the pre-game show before the Finals opener. Everyone knows that he's not the biggest Lakers fan, and he admitted it himself. However, he believes that the Purple and Gold are simply the better team with LeBron James leading the way.

For those who have followed Paul Pierce — particularly his tirades against James — this is a pretty surprising forecast. Another notable NBA game was Pierce's jersey retirement back in 2018. It would've been a great occasion that Pierce will never forget, especially since the Celtics were going to face the James-led Cavaliers squad. But lo and behold, the Cavs — who just had a massive roster overhaul — thrashed the Celtics right in front of Pierce.

With that said, one can understand the thoughts that enter Pierce's brain when he hears the name “LeBron James.”
