The NBA has set very strict guidelines for players, staff, and guests in the bubble location in Orlando. Among the rules set is the creation of an anonymous hotline that can be used to report violators of the protocols in the venue. The creation of the hotline itself has been raising eyebrows, with Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma among the first to share his thoughts on the matter.

On Twitter, Kuzma called the anonymous hotline the “snitch hotline.”

While this seems a necessary protocol, it might inevitably create rifts among players. It is specified that the caller will remain “anonymous,” but identities might eventually be revealed sooner or later. After all, NBA players have their own ways of finding out who's who.

Some may even use it to their advantage in the games itself. After all, violators — depending on the severity of their offense — might be booted out of the campus. Just imagine if a contending NBA team loses one of their star players.

Be as it may, Kyle Kuzma's tweet was met with various replies from fans. One fan tweeted out a photo of D'Angelo Russell. To recall, Russell was involved in a “snitching” incident with Nick Young. It caused a rift between the two players and the Lakers had no choice but to separate them via trade.

There's also Chris Paul who has gained notoriety for snitching on players who are breaking rules — no matter how trivial or insignificant they are. Paul seems to know the NBA rulebook by heart, and he will use them to gain every advantage possible.
