There's some serious dysfunction going on between LeBron James and Brandon Ingram. Well, serious might be overplaying it a little bit. On Sunday night, James jokingly started stepping on Ingram's Adidas shoes as he was attempting to put his sneakers back on. James might be Nike's most recognizable star right now.

James and Ingram nearly blew their third-quarter lead to the Atlanta Hawks late in the fourth quarter, but James was bailed out after missing two crucial free throws. Kyle Kuzma tirelessly worked to secure the rebound and after a scrum and a missed shot from Kuzma, James slammed home the weakside rebound to give the Lakers the lead.

Newly acquired Tyson Chandler blocked Trae Young's last-second floater that would have won the game for Atlanta and sent James back to the locker room with a loss.
But James and Los Angeles did just enough to secure the victory and continue their hot streak. As bad as the start to the season was for James and the Lakers, they seemed to have things going in the right direction now. They are winners of five of their last six games and they're over .500 for the first time this season. Moreover, it's far too early to watch the standings, of course, but the Lakers would be the eighth seed in the West if the season ended today.
The Lakers are bound to have a roller coaster season as all young teams do, but they are playing much better basketball and it appears like they're having fun while doing it.
