Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala is not surprised about the blockbuster Anthony Davis trade made by the Los Angeles Lakers last week.

The Lakers acquired Anthony Davis from the New Orleans Pelicans in exchange for young players and draft picks. They will also reportedly target top-tier free agents this summer once they find a way to clear enough cap space.

In a recent episode of ESPN's First Take, the Warriors veteran said that he knew Rob Pelinka can get the deal done. He also pointed out that it was imperative for the Lakers to get another superstar in order to maximize LeBron James' remaining years with the team.

“I expected them to make a lot of moves. Rob Pelinka, my old agent, I knew he would use that brain of his, that Michigan brain. And then, you got LeBron, he's in the later stages of his career. He wants to win now.”

The Lakers became a legitimate title contender after acquiring Davis. Although the team is technically empty at the moment, players are expected to take a look at the Purple and Gold come free agency.

A team that has LeBron, AD and Kyle Kuzma can already contend for a title, especially since Iguodala and the Warriors aren't expected to rule the West next season. However, if the Lakers can add one more All-Star to their team, they will be even more formidable opponents with legitimate title aspirations.

Still, fans will have to wait for free agency to see how this team will look like next season.
