After it was confirmed that Sacramento Kings rookie Davion Mitchell is set to miss the upcoming Rising Stars mini-tournament due to an injury, the NBA decided to call up Bones Hyland of the Denver Nuggets as his replacement. This did not appear to sit well with Memphis Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant, who decided to call out the league for not turning their attention to his teammate, Ziair Williams.

Morant quickly took to Twitter to make his discontent known:

The Grizzlies have been one of the best teams in the NBA this season and many consider them to be a legitimate threat in the West. Morant has been the main reason behind this team's success, but credit also needs to be given to the rest of the squad for their collective effort. This has to include 20-year-old rookie Ziaire Williams, who himself has been a key part of Memphis' rotation.

For what it's worth, Demond Bane will take part in the All-Star weekend as part of Team Isiah Thomas in the Rising Stars mini-tournament. Clearly, though, Ja Morant firmly believes that Williams should also be in Cleveland this coming weekend to take part in the festivities — and he wasn't exactly shy about making his feelings known about it.
