One of the brightest young studs in the NBA today. Former Rookie of the Year. All-Star. The Memphis Grizzlies' cornerstone superstar. These are just some of the things we can use to describe Ja Morant. However, one title that the 23-year-old is extremely proud of is that of a loving dad to two-year-old baby girl Kaari Jaidyn.
Morant suffered a bit of a knock on Thursday night and was forced to exit in the third period of their 119-114 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Apparently, his daughter got a little bit worried about his dad's injury. After the game, the Grizzlies star caught wind of the adorably heartwarming clip and his reaction is everything:
my baby . all i could do was smile 🖤 https://t.co/HophScvIcP

That's so cute. Kaari was genuinely concerned about his dad getting injured and she just had to ask her mom if he was okay. Thankfully, Ja was indeed alright. Morant was able to return to close out the game and it doesn't sound like he's going to miss any time because of this most recent knock.
As he said, all Ja Morant could do was smile when he saw this video. These are the moments a family man like Ja lives for and this is a great reminder for him of what this is all about.
