All-Star big man Marc Gasol is officially a member of the Toronto Raptors, ending his storied run with the Memphis Grizzlies.

Memphis traded Gasol to the Raptors on Thursday. The Spaniard is no doubt excited to play for a Toronto team which can win the championship this season, but Gasol wanted to say his final goodbye to Memphis, a place he called home for 11 years.

Gasol is the best player in Memphis franchise history. He has played the most minutes in Grizzlies history, is first in points scored, first in rebounds, first in blocks and first in free-throws made. Gasol will have his No. 33 jersey retired by the franchise one day and he will always be loved by the fans and city.

Gasol finished his Grizzlies career with averages of 15.2 points, 7.7 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 769 games. He was a three-time All-Star and won the 2013 Defensive Player of the Year award.

The 34-year-old Gasol is making $24.1 million this season and has a player option worth $25.6 million for next season. Depending on how the rest of the year goes for him in Toronto, Gasol will likely keep his long-term options open.

Gasol joins the Raptors' Big Three alongside Kyle Lowry and Kawhi Leonard. It's going to be interesting to see how the three All-Stars co-exist.
