The Memphis Grizzlies will need to navigate their Game 4 matchup against Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors without Ja Morant. The Grizzlies superstar has been ruled out due to a concerning knee injury and it is clear that Memphis will be missing his services in this pivotal contest.

Morant is without a doubt the most important player on the Grizzlies roster. As it turns out, however, one specific stat proves just how much Memphis is going to miss him as he sits out Monday's crucial contest (h/t StatMuse on Twitter):

The Grizzlies are +36 when Ja is on the court this playoffs. -29 when he is on the bench.

Morant's +/- rating just shows how important he is for the Grizzlies. Whenever he's on the bench, opposing teams are able to outscore Memphis significantly. Clearly, this does not bode well for their chances against a powerhouse Warriors side in Game 4.

Be that as it may, the Grizzlies will not go down without a fight. They've already found success without Morant during his injury spell in the regular season and they will be hoping for more of the same on Monday night.
