Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant opened some eyes across the basketball world last week when the All-Star said he would cook the legendary Michael Jordan in a one-on-one. Bold to say the least.

“I wish I had Ja's confidence,” LaVine told us at LAX.
“I think it's all just love and fun at the end of the day. We're talking about stuff that you'll never know because you never get to play him.”
“Michael Jordan, man — he's the best of all time.”
There is just about no one in the Association as confident as Ja Morant and LaVine knows it. The whole conversation was slightly hypothetical anyway, but there were people on social media roasting Morant for his remarks.

As for LaVine, he just signed a $215 million extension with the Bulls and will be looking to take Chicago back to the playoffs again in 2023 alongside DeMar DeRozan.
